Abstract:
The prospect of emulating Spiderman makes a strong appeal to the imagination. Scientists predict that nanotechnology will soon mean that we shall be able to stick on to vertical surfaces of concrete or glass with a sort of microscopic Velcro on gloves and boots. It sounds almost as good as flying.
