Non invasive nano could be the way ahead
Abstract:
Advancement in nano-medicine is expected to make it possible to have such non invasive alternatives to many of the existing injectable drugs. And this is just one of the many dreams that could come alive with nanotechnology. With the advancement in technology in general it has become possible to explore and understand the working, as well as malfunctioning of the inside of cells. By applying nanotechnology in medicine, the limited resolving power of the drugs in their existing form could be easily overcome. "Nano sized medicines have faster and easier permeability when compared to regular pharma products and that would make it easier to develop non invasive products," Maitra said.
