National Grid providing significant funding for Albany NanoTech expansion
Abstract:
National Grid is expected to present the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering with a check on March 3 to support the college's expansion.
UAlbany's NanoCollege did not disclose how much money National Grid was contributing. A call to UAlbany's NanoCollege was not immediately returned.
UAlbany, in a statement, said the power company would present a check "that represents significant funding for a project critical to the current expansion" at the nanocollege. The nanocollege is located on the $4.2 billion Albany NanoTech complex.
