Tiny technology holds big promise for local economy
Abstract:
Centre County has seen big losses in manufacturing jobs in the past few years. But help is on the way, in the form of the tiniest of technological advances. Nanotechnology -- the production of materials and devices on a very small scale -- has become a huge player in local economic development efforts.
