'Billions needed' to boost growth
Abstract:
Scottish business needs billions of pounds worth of new investment to keep up with international competitors, according to a group of MSPs. The warning comes in a report from the enterprise and culture committee, which has been studying how to boost growth. (Committee chairman Alex Neil) added that both sectors needed to concentrate on target industries such as life sciences, engineering, food, tourism and nanotechnology.
