What lies in store for Intel users?
Abstract:
Nanotechnology is also coming. At Intel in Ireland, we have a research centre at Trinity College that is already starting to produce the first prototype products using nanotechnology. It is still too early to see it coming through in 2008, in terms of the commercial products we will be shipping, but it is certainly looming on the horizon.
Q: What effect will nanotechnology have on business?
A: Today we don’t have the full context to really understand what nanotechnology can do, but micro-electrical and chemical machines will give us tiny devices that will be able to do work at a micro and nano level.
