Biophan Files Drug Delivery Patent
Abstract:
Biophan Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: BIPH; FWB: BTN), a developer of next-generation medical technology, announced today that it has filed a U.S. patent application for the use of halloysite nanotubes for controlled release of drugs.
The technology utilizes halloysite nanotubes, which are being commercialized by NaturalNano, Inc. (OTCBB: NNAN; FWB: N3N). These nanotubes, which are hollow inorganic nanostructures derived from clay, allow the linear, controlled release of drugs.
