Tongdaemun Planned as Fashion, Design Hub
Abstract:
The Tongdaemun complex is part of the city’s plans to develop four new industrial belts to facilitate growth in industrial sectors, such as high-tech, biotechnology, finance, entertainment and fashion.
The third industrial belt, located in the southwest part of the city, will focus on developing new growth industries that combine information and communication technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology, centered around the companies at the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex in Kuro-dong and the Magok Research and Development City (MRC) in Magok-dong.
