Triad chambers make pitch to state legislators
Abstract:
Business leaders in the Triad are making lots of requests to the General Assembly this year, but they all come down to one thing: money.
Some of the items on a slate of legislative priorities that was presented to a group of state legislators yesterday include a nanotechnology center, a health-insurance program and more money for the Heart of the Triad development plan. Leaders from chambers of commerce throughout the Triad met in Raleigh with legislators who represent counties in the Triad.
