Russia Univ Wants Cuba Collaboration
Abstract:
Authorities from the International University of Dubna, 75 miles from this capital, stated Monday they want to collaborate with Cuban academic institutions.
"We would like to re-establish links with higher education centers from the Caribbean island, which have been very fruitful in times of the Soviet Union, Doctor Mijail Jozyainov," scientific vice rector of the institution, stated.
Located in the known worldwide City of Science, recognized today as a special economic zone of Russia, the education establishment prepares staff in three state important projects: development of computer programs, nanotechnology and nuclear physics.
