3M ESPE introduces temporization solution

Abstract:
3M ESPE has announced the launch of Protemp Plus Temporization Material, a nanotechnology-based bis-acrylic material that includes a new generation of sophisticated fillers.

The fillers offer easy handling and eliminate the need to polish.

With a string of features, Protemp Plus temporization was developed to satisfy temporization needs.

Protemp Plus provides toughness with a high fracture resistance for temporary materials. With high esthetics and improved color stability, five fluorescent shades close to nature, and a natural gloss finish, Protemp Plus eliminates the need to polish. Cleaning with alcohol provides a shiny, smooth surface.

The improved surface quality of Protemp Plus allows plaque to be cleaned to support oral hygiene and offers high wearing comfort for patients.

Protemp Plus was evaluated and tested in dental offices before being introduced to the market. The product received positive customer feedback with almost all dentists reporting they would recommend Protemp Plus to their colleagues. The majority of dentists who evaluated Protemp Plus rated it better than competitive materials that they currently use in their offices.

"The new Protemp Plus material from 3M ESPE will help you make excellent provisionals, in a short time, that will be comfortable for your patients, promote gingival health, and look natural," said Steve Carstensen, DDS, FAGD, FICD, one of the evaluators of the product.
