CU approves new energy institute
Abstract:
The University of Colorado at Boulder has approved a plan to create a joint Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
The new institute will bring NREL scientists to the university's Boulder campus to work in conjunction with students and faculty on renewable energy research. Areas of study would include biofuels, solar, wind, nanoscience, energy efficiency, energy storage, hydrogen, smart grids, electric vehicles, regulatory issues, and public policy.
