Only one Ottawa firm participating in McGuinty’s trade mission to Israel
Abstract:
Sandra Pupatello, Ontario's minister of economic development and trade, confirmed Monday that participants were hand-picked by ministry officials. She defended the decision, saying OCRI wasn't informed because it is IT-based.
"Our links will benefit every single company that's in that cluster back home, whether they're in the trip or not," she said. Pupatello added that Ottawa nanotechnology firms would benefit from a more robust Ontario life sciences sector regardless of location.
