Abstract:
Rapid News Communications Group (RNCG) are pleased to formally announce the dates for the second edition of the successful MM Live USA event.

MM Live USA Returns for 2012 with New Feature Events Added

UK | Posted on February 21st, 2011

Following its 2010 debut in Ohio, 2012 will see MM Live USA move to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont near Chicago and will take place March 7-8th. The move to a more accessible location both nationally and internationally will have a positive impact on visitor numbers but also allows the event to grow in size.

A further exciting development within MM Live USA will see two new and complimentary feature events launched for this 2012. NANO Live USA and MEMS Live USA for the Nano Manufacturing and Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) sectors will take their place in the hall focusing on two very closely linked and emerging technology sectors. They will also enable companies who operate in these markets to locate alongside complementary MM Live exhibitors but also define their niche more explicitly.

Once again leading industry title Commercial Micro Manufacturing will be throwing its full support behind the event and for 2012 will be joined by MEMS Technology Review, a new title focused on the MEMS arena.

Alongside the exhibits will be two full days of seminar programs, all of which will be completely free to all attendees. A Call for Papers will be issued in the coming weeks soliciting papers for these sessions.

Duncan Wood, Managing Director of the Events Group at RNCG comments, "After a successful foray into the US market in 2010 we have taken time to evaluate the market, looking carefully at location, market trends and the needs of the sector. We believe that the format of the event, the new location and introduction of MEMS Live and NANO Live enable us to build on our modest debut and make an impact on the US engineering and manufacturing sector, the pressure to manufacture ever smaller parts is increasing and the technologies on show in Rosemont will help attendees do just that."
