Abstract:
SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc., (SWeNT) the world leader in high quality, Single-Wall and Specialty Multi-Wall (SMW™) carbon nanotubes (CNT), will present its new SMW™ line of Specialty Multi-wall CNT at the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) Tech 2012 conference in Charleston, South Carolina.
The SMW materials are used as additives that enable higher electrical conductivity in polymer compounds and improved cathode performance in Lithium Ion batteries. The new grades, SMW200 and SMW210 have demonstrated the greatest ease of dispersion and lowest percolation threshold of any MWCNT product in multiple customer thermoplastic compound evaluations.
This event runs from October 22-25 and takes place at the Charleston Convention Center.
SAMPE provides the global forum for information, education and professional fellowship for those who define the leading edge and application of materials and processes advancement.
