The Second National Conference on the applications of Nanotechnology in the Power and Energy Industries will be held by Niroo Research Institute and Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council in Tehran on June 17-18.

The Second National Conference on Nanotechnology in Power and Energy Industries aims to present applicable and scientific results of the use of nanotechnology in the fields of power and energy.

Among the most important objectives of the conference, mention can be made of the following items:

. Expansion of the applications of nanotechnology in power and energy industries

. Evaluation of opportunities and challenges in the application of nanotechnology in power and energy industries

. Development of application of nanotechnology in power and energy industries

. Making connections and idea exchange among experts in the field of power, energy and nanotechnology

. Encouragement of nanotechnology researchers to be active in the fields of power and energy

The scopes of the papers presented in the conference are as follows:

• Application of nanotechnology in energy and power generation (EPG)

• Application of nanotechnology in power and energy transportation (PTL)

• Application of nanotechnology in power distribution system (PDS)

• Application of nanotechnology in the reduction of power and energy industries environmental pollutants (ENV)
