Home > Press > Ucore's McKenzie to Deliver Presentation to Rare Earths Conference in Singapore as Highlight of Fall 2014 Marketplace Schedule
Abstract:
Ucore Rare Metals Inc (TSX VENTURE:UCU) (OTCQX:UURAF) (FRANKFURT:U9U) ("Ucore" or "the Company") is pleased to update investors on marketplace activities for the fall of 2014.
On November 12, 2014, Jim McKenzie, President and CEO of Ucore will deliver a presentation to the 10th International Rare Earths Conference in Singapore, entitled 'Nanotechnology and Rare Earths Separation'. The presentation will describe how nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize the separation and processing of rare earth elements, and the downstream opportunities this innovation presents.
Mark MacDonald, Vice President, Business Development and Investor Relations will be in attendance at the New Orleans Investment Conference, October 22-25, 2014, as an exhibitor. This is Ucore's first time attending this well known investment event.
From November 5-7, 2014, Ken Collison, COO of Ucore, will attend the Alaska Miners Association Fall Convention in Anchorage Alaska where he will make a presentation as part of the technical program. Ken is well known in Alaska mining circles. His track record in building successful mines, and his leadership role with Ucore's Bokan-Dotson Ridge heavy rare earth project in southeast Alaska, position him well to make a positive contribution to conference deliberations.
Finally, Jim McKenzie and Mark MacDonald will meet investors at the International Precious Metals and Commodities Show, November 7-8, 2014 in Munich, Germany. This visit is in response to growing interest in Ucore in the German market.
"This is an exciting time for Ucore" said Jim McKenzie. "Notwithstanding a challenged resource capital sector, certain juniors continue to charge toward production during the market down cycle. This has always been the case with resilient commodities such as strategic metals, and can mean a strong buying opportunity for investors armed with knowledge and foresight. Ucore is now in the final stages of pre-construction, and is committed to presenting its case at trade and science forums around the world. We encourage investors to join us at these events to learn more about the remarkable Ucore story."
