Philips and AOC Monitors with QD Vision’s Color IQ™ Deliver World’s Best Color: Leading brands embrace Quantum Dot technology to enable 99% Adobe RGB color in 27-inch monitors

Las Vegas, NV | Posted on January 5th, 2015

The Philips and AOC monitors will be launched in China and available in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2015. Enabling Adobe RGB color at an aggressive price point, these monitors set a new standard for delivering premium color quality and unmatched value to consumers.

The new high-performance desktop monitors use QD Vision's Color IQ optics to deliver professional-grade color performance at the cost structure of mainstream desktop monitors. With the launch of these desktop monitors, Color IQ™ optic technology is now available to consumers everywhere from the living room to the office.

"The color we achieved on the new Philips 27" - (276E6A) monitors is truly groundbreaking, and represents a superior value for our customers," said Chris Brown, Global Product Marketing TPV (MMD/Philips monitors). "This is a premium product without the premium price tag."

"For the AOC 27" (I2771F9),Color IQ quantum dot technology provides a significant price performance advantage compared to other wide-gamut color technologies, with color that is equal to - or better than - comparable alternatives," said Sapling Chen, Global Product Planning, TPV (AOC Monitors).

"QD Vision's ColorIQ technology delivers the world's best color," said Matt Mazzuchi, Vice president, Market and Business Development at QD Vision. "Our Color IQ optics enable Philips and AOC to deliver what consumers have been asking for - a superior visual experience at a cost-effective price."
