Reade Selected for Secretarial Trade Mission to Mexico

The US Department of Commerce in Washington, DC just announced that Reade Advanced Materials (Reade), headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island USA, was selected to represent the submicron inorganic particle industry in America and join the Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Donald Evans, in a six-day US Secretarial Trade Mission to Mexico from 17 to 22 June 2002.

The mission will further the commitment made by President George W. Bush and Mexico President Vicente Fox to increase two-way trade, foster economic growth and develop and improve living standards in both countries by creating higher wages and more jobs.

Over the 5-day period, Reade will conduct one-on-one business meetings with high technology and pharmaceutical manufacturers within Mexico who are situated near the key industrial centers of Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.

Reade, with facilities on the East and West Coast of the USA, is a 100-year-old plus manufacturer, value add custom processor / packager, and global distributor of submicron, and nanosized inorganic particles and tubes.

Reade was selected earlier this year by the US Small Business Administration for participation in the Mentor Partner program to conduct strategic relationships with high technology minority businesses; the 1999 recipient of the NASA "Commitment to Excellence Award"; and the Industry Newsmaker in the January/February 2001 issue of the International Journal of Powder Metallurgy.
