Abstract:
FEI Company (Nasdaq: FEIC), a leading provider of high-resolution imaging and analysis systems, today announced that Richard H. (Rick) Wills has been elected to the company's board of directors. Wills is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Tektronix, Inc., where he worked from 1979 to 2008. After worldwide experience in marketing, product development and product line management, Wills was named president and CEO in 2000 and chairman of the board in 2001.
"Rick's extensive experience managing a major, multi-market, global high technology company will add depth and perspective to the FEI board," commented James T. Richardson, FEI's board chairman. "We particularly welcome his experience, which parallels many of the major issues that the FEI faces as it builds on its foundation of technology leadership and global market breadth."
Wills' election increases the company's board from 10 to 11 members.
