Home > Press > Iran Introduces New DTA Device to Market
Abstract:
The new Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) device presented in Iran Nano 2012 festival and exhibition earlier this month, came under mass-production by Iranian experts.
"This technology has extensive applications. We tried to produce this device since it did not exist in Iran. The main application of the device is analyzing the materials, specially nanomaterial. We week to produce another sample of the device that would be able to carry out the analysis in lower temperatures," the CEO of Pishtar Tajhizat Sazan Company said.
Differential thermal analysis device is one of the thermal identification and analysis devices, which is used for the determination of enthalpy changes and the value of specific heat capacity of materials at constant pressure in an exothermic or endothermic chemical reaction. The device operates based on the comparison of the thermal behavior of the reference material and the sample.
The device has many applications in medical and food industries. Specific application of the device is related to ceramic materials, glaze, and cement. In this method, thermal behavior study is used as one of the main techniques as well as weight change analysis and the amount of material energy transference during thermal differentiations.
